RESTORING THE UNION BLEACHERY WORLD WAR II MEMORIAL

The Union Bleachery Historical Society "BUY A BRICK" Campaign is underway!

The engraved memorial bricks are $50 each, with the proceeds going to restore the Union Bleachery World War II Memorial which honors Union Bleachery employees who served in WWII.

The restored memorial will be permanently located on property provided by Parisview Baptist Church near the intersection of Old Buncombe Road and Bud Street. The memorial bricks, along with bricks from the Union Bleachery plant will be used to pave a walkway leading to the memorial.
